Who We Are

We believe good medicine should be based on good science whether conventional or alternative. Integrative veterinary medicine takes account of the whole patient, their environment and lifestyle and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative.

Our services include general wellness and appropriate vaccinations, dental care (including intra-oral dental radiographs)  in-housediagnostics (full laboratory, digital radiology and ultrasound),  laser surgery, oncology services, integrative pain management,  behavioural consultations, nutrition and weight management programs.  We offer rehabilitation services, soft-tissue laser therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care.

We partner with local veterinary medicine specialists, and can arrange for complicated surgeries (for example, TPLO) internal medicine care and cardiology services (including ECG and echocardiogram). Our goal is to provide excellent, compassionate and prompt wellness and healthcare for your pet.  Our facility is open 7 days a week and is available for emergency needs during our working hours.

Our veterinarians are also trained to provide a wide array of alternative and integrative therapies including acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal and nutritional therapy, and homotoxicology.  Should you have additional questions or cannot find a specific service that you are interested in, please contact our hospital and ask us about it!

While our most common patients are cats and dogs, we also occasionally provide general health care for rabbits, ferrets , rats, mice and hamsters.  Whatever the veterinary needs of our patients, our doctors and health care team at Guelph Animal Hospital are ready to assist in any way we can.  We look forward to seeing you and your animal companion in our office soon!
